The Home Purchase Process

Step 1: Pre-Approval

We’ll help you gather the documents needed for us to run your credit report and pinpoint the loan amount that you quality for. This pre-approval will save you time throughout your home search and help signal to sellers that you’re a serious buyer.

Step 2: Applying

Once you have an accepted offer we’ll coach you through everything you need (and don’t need) to get your loan file through underwriting. We’ll help you prioritize your efforts so that we can get your Loan Estimate completed.

Step 3: Processing

We’ll work with our loan processors to gather the necessary documentation, review the information in the loan file and then assemble an orderly and complete package for the underwriter.

Step 4: Underwriting

While the documentation in your loan package is being reviewed for approval by the underwriter, we’ll help you pinpoint the right moment to lock your interest rate based on our knowledge of the markets.

Step 5: Closing

Once your loan docs are drawn and you’re getting ready to close, we’ll help you review the Closing Disclosure during the three day review period and then walk you through everything you need to know during the closing meeting.
